The Number Twelve Looks Like You Announce Headlining Tour

Worse Than Alone out March 10 on Eyeball Records

“Glory Kingdom” and “Marvin’s Jungle” - Two Brand New Tracks –
On MySpace Now

Video for “To Catch A Tiger” Planned

(January 27, 2009) – THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU announces their headlining tour in support of their upcoming Eyeball Records release, Worse Than Alone (03/10/09). The tour currently begins and ends in Massachusetts (see routing below) with many more dates to be added. Supporting the band on all dates will be We Came As Romans, I See Stars, and Our Last Night.

“We have subscribed to this world order, but will not succumb,” says vocalist Justin Pedrick. “We’re excited to be playing these news songs and we are mentally prepared to lend our hands to you, our fans, and kiss the wind we both breathe.”

On their fourth and latest full-length release, Worse Than Alone, the Bergen County, New Jersey-based experimental/progressive metal quintet raise the bar still further for themselves. Brimming with beauty and brutality, high concept and gleeful banality, Worse is the kind of album that throws a curveball at every turn, and dares the listener to keep up. Fans can get a taste of the new album by checking out “Glory Kingdom” and “Marvin’s Jungle” on the Number Twelve’s MySpace page.

Worse Than Alone was recorded at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, NJ. The album was self-produced by the band and mixed by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan), and represents the next stage in the TNTLLY’s evolution. Worse Than Alone miraculously fuses literally every style of music the band is influenced by, from classical and jazz to grindcore and death metal, into one molten morass of auditory carnage.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You will be shooting a video for “To Catch A Tiger” before they head off on tour. Look for details on the video premiere as well as info on a special album pre-order and plans for the vinyl release to be announced shortly.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You is: Jesse Korman (vocals), Justin Pedrick (vocals), Alexis Pareja (guitar), Chris Russell-Waker (bass), and Jon Karel (drums).

THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU POST NEW SONGS,
ALBUM ART REVEALED

Worse Than Alone out March 10, 2009 on Eyeball

(January 16, 2009) – THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU have re-launched their MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/tntllu) today and posted two songs from their forthcoming self-produced Eyeball Records release, Worse Than Alone (03/10/09). The Bergen County, NJ five-piece also reveals the artwork for the new disc, which was created by Aardvark Brigade (who also provided the artwork for their last album, Mongrel).

“It was about time that our band wrote a song dedicated to the people who are of the same sex as us, men,” says lyricist and co-vocalist Jesse Korman about the first track, “Glory Kingdom.” “”Marvin’s Jungle” is about a childhood friend of mine named Marvin who was picked on and hurt by our other classmates, so I stayed by his side to help protect him.”

Look for the band to announce exciting news on an upcoming tour in the next few days.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You is: Jesse Korman (vocals), Justin Pedrick (vocals), Alexis Pareja (guitar), Chris Russell-Walker (bass) and Jon Karel (drums).
